Was thinking about buying this it seems like a good deal for the price but need some opinions.

Its mainly going to be used for school but I would like to be able to play Fallout New Vegas & Skyrim at a reasonable level.

Thanks for any help

l43a2: do not buy HP.

Agreed, My most recent experience with them was horrible build quality (little plastic things that break off) bad driver support and terrible cooling design.

Sold it a few months back and grabbed a cheap-o Dell and ive been very happy since.

I've written my thoughts on a laptop into a poem.
I hope it helps.

Laptops, well, they go on your lap!
Do not try and put them through your small catflap!!

A laptop is sturdy, and meataxe, and vile.
You can stack one with books, it'll make a neat pile.

More money than brains? Buy a nice Mac!
(You'll come to your senses, but can't take it back)

On a tight budget but need the beez kneez?
There's plenty of nice, small and real cheap PCs.

We've come to the end of my really shit thoughts
Let's all act like men and go play some sports.

1080p IPS panel. you don't want any higher for gaming. coz the GPU won't cope.

or wait for the next deal at midnight (not sure what it will be, might be better or worse)

if you want just click on it and pay later, that way if you get a better deal you can cancel it, coz it expires soon

If you want to game I would spend a few more $ and go with this:
http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/notebooks/componentview.asp?partid=23752

The GTX850 is around double the performance of the GT840

Otherwise the dell would be good a better option than the HP
