Hi Everyone

Our GM has a Samsung W531 world roaming phone (CDMA/GSM). It was recently replaced with a Palm Treo. He would like his contacts copied from the Samsung Device to the Palm. I can't for the life of me find any software that will allow me to connect to the Samsung via a USB cable. The samsungmobile.com website doesn't even seem to achnowlodge this phone's existance. When I plug it into my PC, it shows up as a mobile device but displayed nothing when I go into it. Also the Samsung Contacts Manager refuses to connect to teh phone.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Cheers,
John.

AFAIK, your local Telecom store will be able to this for you.

All Telecom mobile dealers (the real shops, not the Harvey Norman / DSE's of the world) have a software/hardware package to transfer contacts between virtually all CDMA phones sold in New Zealand. Its a free service.

Cheers Guys

I'll get hold of my contact at Leading Edge tomorrow. For some reason I always get involved in trying to resolve these issues myself when there are pople out there that will have everything I need to get this done.

Thanks again,
John.
