I just bought an okta mondo from telecom, and i can't get the software for the pc sync to install. I read its only for windows xp /2000 but i tried it on xp and its a no go. It says it can't inface or find the okta proprietary USB Modem?? Help.

this is oh so common.

Simply run the driver file off the CD.

Install the cable and the phone and go to menu / 6 /8 and the XP machine will start runing the driver installs, 3 - 4 seperate installs so accept them all and let it finish.

Once this is done run the software and the inteface will see the phone. Its a really horrible piece of software but it does work.
