Hey I was wondering if anyone knows if the LG GW300 or the LG GW 525 work on the telecom xt network even thought they are vodafone phones.

The GW300 is not 3G, is it? So no.
The GW525 is 900/2100, so not very well since XT is 850 and 2100 is only for infill (I think). You'd only be able to use it when you were within those infill areas (i.e. not very often).

The simple answer is no.

As bazzer has said the GW300 is GSM only. Telecom do not have a GSM netwoork.

The GW525 is 900/2100 so will have limited coverage in the areas Telecom have 2100 coverage which is limited to the major cities and solely for infill and capacity. The network is 850MHz 3G.

The simple answer is "the most suitable Vodafone device to use on Telecom XT is the iPhone".

My Nokia 6500s uses 850/2100, I'm pretty sure. Although I haven't tested it yet. Is it one of those phones with multiple versions?

You are correct in saying the 6500s will work on XT.
