I'm a newcomer, but I can't seem to find a search option on this site other than Google.
Seems like a real downside. I don't want to search the WEB, or Pricegrabber.com, I just want to search the @#$$%% GEEKZONE!!!

Yup, you can certainly tell I'm a newbie-- I took time to read some of this forum, and I realize that some of my difficulties are due to my Firefox browser, which I will give up only thru my cold dead hands before I go back to IE.
Having to insert a handfull of code just to search a specific forum is just too much for my old brain.
I'm torn between benefitting from the wisdom on this website, and struggling with unneeded code entry.
I think I'll revisit from time-to-time and see how things evolve. (Hmm-- I'd like to do that with Planet Earth too)

Hello Regh... Using the Google Search box on the side of this page has nothing to do with Firefox or Internet Explorer. You can simply enter a search query and check the button "geekzone.co.nz" and this will do the trick.

If you want a more specific search then you can use the power of Google and enter site:geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp and this will provide results in the forum pages only, while using the site:geekzone.co.nz/content.asp will provide results in the content pages only.

You can use this on the main Google website too.

We have done this because a search directly into the SQL database consumes to much time and users are more likely to get better results when using the Google Search, which has a more comprehensive algorithm.

As for the Firefox problems - there are no problems. The only thing is that when entering a post the icons for Text Editing are not active. Everything else works as designed.

I use Opera these days - its free, works really well, looks really nice, and doesnt need plug ins for africa to do cool things...

I no longer use Firefox, but will revisit it to see how it evolves...

Have you tried the mobile version of opera? do you know if it would work on a Apache?

and a question to all, is there a better windows mobile 5 browser then IE (not that IE is that bad).
