Firstly, does anyone know when you're on a 12 month term (Sky and Cable) whether you can downgrade from Sky to Freeview?  Or does that breach the terms?

Secondly, as queried here: http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=40&topicid=127072&page_no=8#908752

Does anyone know if when you downgrade whether you keep using the same T-Box and if you lose access to recorded content at all.  I would assume you just keep using the same and the recorded content remains but just checking.

I will be ringing them at some point but don't trust that I'll get the right answer so would like a heads-up beforehand.

Thanks.

If you stop your paying for sky I assumme any recorded content from sky would be unviewable as you're no longer paying the right to view that content

And to answer myself re. the contract part, yes, it does constitute breaking your term if you want to downgrade from Sky to Freeview.  I'll be waiting it out...
