One of my friends have a Samsung SGH-E250V
Recently he tried to put a 2degrees sim into it, but he made a mess and now the phone says "Phone Freezed". It's not really practical to take it into a shop as I live way out in the sticks so can anyone help me help my friend? Also I tried his vodafone sim in some other phones and it dosen't seem to work anymore. I have tried several different sims in his phone but no joy.

Can anyone help?
johnr?

have you tried a full reset? Sounds like it's somehow Sim locked

At the phone freeze screen try
*2767*full#

Then try 0000 for the password? at least i think it's 4 digits, or longer :) just hit 0

you should be able to type that in when you first turn it on
just hit
*2767*full#
Full means full reset
*2767*3855# is it without letters

Then it should reset the phone, hopefully :S
If not, you might have to call Omnitech 0800 666483 and see if they can help, they won't charge you for asking, but might charge you for unlocking it, unless it's an easy unlock and you speak nicely to them :)
