Hi,

 

I have an HP netbook which was running 1024x768 screen resolution under windows 7 but Ive upgraded to Win10 and that resolution is no longer an option yet Ive some programs which require that resolution to run.

 

Any ideas?

What resolution is it running? You might have to install some video drivers.... If you can find them

1024x600.

 

the only other option is 800x600.

 

When I got the netbook making some changes thru regedit to allow 1024x768 but under win10 the regedit seems a little different.

damn. So the native resolution is 1024x600. I have no ideas, sorry.

You should be able to go to your display adapter and choose a resolution that is supported by the adapter (i.e. 1024x768) but not by the display (1024x600).

Actually, Ive resolved the issue now. I found display1 in the regedit and changed the value to 1. Now Ive got all the options back and the software appears to be working.
