What I would find very useful though I can't seem to find anything that does it nicely, is where you get a dimension of an item in inches (like 14 x 15 x 19) and paste that and have it return in mm or cm even.

Right now I seem to need to convert on a 1:1 basis which is annoying.

sleemanj:

Not too convenient, but WA can do like this...

https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=14+inches+in+cm,+15+inches+in+cm+,+19+inches+in+cm

Thanks.  Was hoping I could do something like this:

12.8 x 10.8 x 3.6 inches in CM but that gives the volume measurement I think.

Multiply inches by 2.54 to convert to CM.

If you want to calculate the volume of your item. Convert the measurements to CM (or another metric measurement first) Then simply multiply the length width and height together to get the volume.
