My Surface Pro installed some updates last night and this morning I was preparing to put a Powerpoint preso together and found that Powerpoint was stuck in Ink (annotation mode).

Tried loads of things, thought I was going barmy but found this article:

So if you've been using a pen/stylus as a mouse in Excel, Word or Powerpoint, you can't any longer!  

Pretty shoddy unfortunately.  Using a pen or the touchpad on a Surface is fairly impractical for anyone who works on alot of documents concurrently.  Perhaps Remond is trying to encourage users to move towards the Surface Pro Book!  ;)
