Hi, apologies if this has already been discussed but I can't find it.
We have a new PABX VOIP phone system in the office so I need to have my Outlook contacts with the country code included, so local cellphones are now showing as +64027xxxxxxx (they used to just be 027xxxxxxx).
The Telecom Okta Touch phones now allow plus code dialing (unlike the old Apache) so I can synch with my phone and outgoing calls from the Okta Touch work fine (it strips the zero off so it dials as +6427xxxxxxx). Great.
But when I try to send a text message from the Touch, it tries to send to +64027xxxxxxx (i.e. it doesn't remove the zero). And it gives an error "Text message cannot be sent".
Anyone know how I can get text messaging to strip the extra zero, or any other ideas?
Thanks,
Andrew.
