Also, what would be better, 2 GTX 280 SLI or 1 ATI4870x2?. I am going to build a PC after exams, so would like to get as much info as possible. Right now im thnking 280's cos it got the PhysX plus cheaper.

Hold on, 280's cheaper? If you're talking about getting 1x 280 compared to 1x 4870x2, then yeah, but I get the feeling you're talking about 2x 280's? That would be very expensive!

I think the cheapest thing would be to stick with a single GPU card at this point. Theres not much out there which is going to be unplayable.

For example, I just bought a Palit 4870 Dual Sonic 1GB, which is overclocked (factory) to 775mhz on the GPU and 1000Mhz for the memory (Reference is 750/900).

I get roughly 25fps in Crysis Warhead with everything on highest settings, but without AA.

As for the future products of ATI and nVidia, you're probably looking at a year or 2 before then. The 48X0 and GTX series are both great products, and will be able to stand up for a while.

Best bet would be to do some research. Have a look at different prices on www.pricespy.co.nz and when you find a product that takes your interest, Google it and see if you can find some reviews. Most reviewers often pit them against other cards, so you can get an idea of what to expect.
