Hi,
I have a Netgear WN2000RPT connected to our house router from our garage. The router in the house is a Netgear DGND3700 which serves a few computers by ethernet and wireless as well. The reason I have this booster is so that I can access music and videos from my PC inside the house. Without it the connection in the garage is very poor.
I setup the booster in the window of the garage, line of sight with the router, approximately 30 meters or so. The booster worked brilliantly! I could get 150 Mbps link rate between the two units and no problems accessing files, internet from the PC's inside the house.
Until recently I haven't had a problem but over the last few days I haven't been able to get a link rate greater than 11Mbps! I checked the surrounding other wifi's to check there wasn't any channel confliction and there isn't from what I can see. I was curious so grabbed my laptop, placed it in the same place as the booster (just next to the window) and connected to the Wifi in the house - 150 Mbps... I then connected to the booster network, logged into the booster config and checked the link rate 11 Mbps.. really strange considering both the booster and the laptop at the time were sitting in the same spot..
Anyhow, is there anything I haven't thought of that might be able to be done to resolve this problem. It seems very odd that it worked fine up until about a week ago and now it just won't 'get up and go' like it used to.
Any feedback would be appreciated,
Leon.
