I just purchased a Bluetooth USB Adapter online and cant seem to get it to work. I just want to send some ringtones to my phone. I looked up the error report online when I plug it in and nothing seems to be working.  Is there any advice you can give me to get this working so my money doesnt go down the drain?

A few tips:

- Make sure you install the software/driver from the CD accompanying the adapter before you plug it.
- Plug it directly to a USB port, not to a USB Hub
- When using Bluetooth make sure both devices support what you want. If you want to connect the phone to your PC, make sure you check if there's the need for a management software on your PC, and if so then configure COM ports correctly
- Check Control Panel for the Bluetooth icon and see if you can manage your device from there.
- Contact the manufacturer to see if there's any updated software.
