Anyone else noticed an increased number of sop crashes on IOS 7.1?
The nzherald app is completely broken and has been for some time. I've also noticed major issues in apps like chrome, trademe property, Facebook, you tube. Even the likes of the App Store seems less reliable than normal. I've noticed this across a few devices.
Anyone aware of fundamental issues with the new iOS?

Yep, I crash regularly on both the NZ Herald (it's even stated their replacement update is awaiting apple clearance on their site now) and the kindle app (though only when connected to the car sterio charger???)

Various others 'occasionally' crash more than I recall previously, but I only really notice the ones I use regularly...

Mail crashed on me just before, but I haven't had any other problems since upgrading a few days ago.

Yep, Herald app is poked, crashes constantly.  I just use their m.herald.co.nz site now.    As for others yes have noticed a very slight increase in others crashing such as Chrome.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with the Herald crashing :) And I'm still on IOS6 (iPad on 6.1.3)

I haven't had many problems with a new ios 7.1 device. My android phone on the other hand regually crashes on most apps.

Actually, I've just started to notice this over the last 24 hours. I've had a crash on Facebook, and the whole device shut down and restarted when Safari crashed last night (Apple logo came up as per normal restart process). What devices are people experiencing this with? I'm on a 3rd gen iPad.

I usually hold off on major OS updates but perform minor updates straight away on the theory that major updates are likely to be buggy, where as minor updates are more likely to fix bugs. It's disappointing to see a minor update cause problems like this.

I was actually going to make a post about the Herald App - it is an absolute shocker - And the developers name is prominently displayed on the splash screen - great advertising - NOT.

It is the only App to give me problems, doesn't work on any of my iDevices (all of them are up to date). It wasn't great before (wouldn't update reliably when you pulled down and released), but now it is unusable.

Only Kindle crash seems to do the full restart (Apple logo, black screen) but Herald blame it on 7.1.1 (though I was crashing the last few weeks BEFORE upgrading from 7.1) but do say they have a fix in the works:

Not an app crash problem but I find my iPad 3 drops my home wi-fi quite frequently - say once or twice a day. Not while I'm using it but when I go to my browser (Dolphin) to start using the 'net. Have to go to Settings and click on my network to reconnect. Anyone else with this?

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
