Hi all, This is my first post and I’m not super-techie.
Hoping some of the more knowledgeable out there can explain this to me: I’ve been using a VPN service for a little while and usually the speed would be a fair amount slower than my usual VDSL speed of around 22-24Mbps.
Yesterday, all of a sudden I noticed my speed for normal browsing was much faster and I did a speedtest, which all of a sudden was 86Mbps *gasp*. Same results tonight through the VPN. https://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4469843184
Orcon ‘supposedly’ do not throttle and gives you “speeds as fast as your line can carry”. How is it possible to get these sort of speeds on a VDSL connection and though VPN, which in the past slowed the connection down?
At first I thought the Speedtest might be wrong but there is definitely a huge increase in browsing/loading speeds...
Thanks!
