Hi,

On the slingshot All you can eat plan, I can only get 0.1KB/s on any torrent, are they doing this so that I will stop using torrents or do I have a connection problem?

Have you tried using Vuze with the ono plugin, it connects more often to the Slingshot torrent cache than uTorrent.

Torrents not on the cache would be the first to get shaped when the network is under heavy load, like on school holidays.

How's the speed tests looking? If they are slow too then there maybe an issue.

For some reason, the vuze website look slike it's down for me.

I get 8.6Mbps from speedtest.net and 8.5Mbps on the slingshot speed test.

You must be new here...

I assure you, ISPs have many ways to restrict torrent speed. There are almost as many ways around it if you try hard enough.
