Hello,

Im a little stumped to as why the hvr 3000 is not working with my system

Info:
HTPC machine
2.3ghz althon dual core
2GB ram
500 GB SATA hdd
ati 4350 using hdmi to tv
tv is a 40" Sony LCD does 720p/1080i
OS windows 7 64 bit RC

Im using the optical out on my motherboard and hdmi(vid card) directly into the TV as the denon reciever I own is only a lower end one that doesnt support sound, only video via hdmi

I installed the drivers and software for the hvr 3000 so far and managed to get the application fired up and working (WinTV) using a roof mounted - UHF ariel not bunny ears etc

Issues! :(
however in WinTV some stations there is no audio?

I cannot get the remote to work that came with the hauppauge hvr 3000 either
I am getting some stations in HD as well

I really wanted to use Media Center, but cannot seem to get any stations working while scanning for DVB-T, only normal analogue stations seem to pick up channels while in the setup mode

when it has finished finding the 19 channels? I cannot view them at all, displays "No Data available"

I also plan to use the sky DVB-S cable as soon as I get another cable from a a splitter box

Ive managed to get it working and the remote now.. it looks like Ill need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable for the sound for WinTV?

still have 1 main issue, being now that Win media center will not pick up the dvb-s or t tuners only an analogue tuner! :(

reinstalled the hauppage drivers last night, and made sure I did a hwclear before hand..

Windows 7 media center works fine, however can only pick up 4 stations in DVB-T, the rest of the channels have sound but no picture..

channel 1,2 and 3 work fine, along with freeview HD demo but not the others :(

ATI graphics cards are know to have issues with the SD h.264 used for Freeview. If you leave it on the channel you should eventually get a picture but it will have severe artifacts. I would suggest that you replace your 4350 with an Nvidia card as these correctly display the SD h.264 content.
