Hi,

Can anyone tell me where I can sit the ITIL foundation exam in Wellington. Also can you give me any information on how to study for it?

Go to www.prometric.com and search for ITL certification. Then click on the first hit that talks about Exin, and follow your nose from there by clicking Start.

In Wellington you can sit Prometric exams at Auldhouse Training, ACE Training or WIT.

I did my V3 foundation exam at ACE on the Terrace and found the facilities and service to be good.

All self-study using a CBT that was available on the intranet of my employer at the time. This book:
http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/Passing-Your-ITIL-Foundation-Exam-Great-Britain-Office-Government-Co...
is also very good. Although they don't have it available at the moment, you may be able to get it elsewhere.

I think ProActive (www.proactiveservices.com.au) runs courses in Wellington from time to time. Be pretty pricey i expect though, don't think I could justify it for the Foundation certificate.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Yeah Prometric are good, I did my V3 back in 2006 with them

I did it at Auldhouse, which provide free coffee(good thing) and a $10 lunch voucher for the BNZ centre

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.

Really?  My understanding is that V2 wasn't superceded until 2007.

I'll have to check but I'm pretty sure my ITIL foundations says 2006 and was done via Prometrics, unless I'm still only on V2

Edit: Damnit, I think you are right!! My certificate at home isn't blue like my colleagues V3, it's the older red based one :(

Might be time for an upgrade!

Hi there

There is always an option for online training as well (although this isn't suited to everyone). There are a number of online providers who provide accredited Foundation (and Expert) training and also access to exams (you can also elect to take the exams at pro metric testing centres).

They include:

www.itiltrainingonline.com (disclosure: my organisation)
www.itsmsolutions.com
www.mountainview.ca

You can check a company is accredited by using the ITIL Official Site, or contacting the relevant examination institute mentioned on the training providers site. If you've got any questions about online ITIL training, please feel free to message me.

Dave
