I found a deal that gave away Grammy Singles for $0, but when I click on them from my PC or Phone it gives me a price which I presume is related to the fact I am in NZ and I guess the promo is for the US.

I have unotelly but they say their DNS service doesn't cover google play presently.

Is there any other way you guys are away of to get around the limitation?

It may be more than changing playstore region but you could try this app

Nope it wasn't that. I even tried connecting to a US VPN site, no luck there.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Even if you can get these, they won't work when you revert regions will they? That may apply only to books though...

Also, when you coming over? I have the Taurus MKII now, so even more worthwhile!

When I got the original Nexus tablet I had to trick it into thinking I was in the states, the resulting (awful) movie that you get for free can now be played from a normal NZ connection. Same with a few books. Guessing music is probably the same.

The store partially identifies your region by the MCC/MNC codes of your SIM card, if you find and install "Market Enabler" (requires a rooted phone) then you can spoof these into being for a US provider.

IIRC You may also need a US address associated with your store account.

It's a lot of pissing around for little benefit.
