Is anyone plotting the number of cases over time (this is a geek site, and that's the kind of thing geeks do)? I would, but I am literally too lazy.

Reported cases only seem to be growing at about 2 per day it seems.

I started updating the tally from the get go not long after announcement. So should be easy enough to go back and get it out of the noise.

But, these are only REPORTED cases. There is bound to be non socialites with buried heads at home not realising, And some too ashamed to report.

Thanks. I just knew someone would be geeky enough to do it. However, your x-axis is not corrected for elapsed time. There should be more gaps on the left as there are more days between data points initially.

I added some more, but it left gaps without known values. I spose I can consider the between times flatlined. But I'd perfer if it was smart enough to do a smart curve between

I am wondering if they should either make it compulsory, or make it a requirement for schools and workplaces to require people to be immunized. I see some schools do already make it a requirement. I see that anyone 29-50 could be at increased risk due to the immunizations back in the 80's and 90's not being as effective. I suspect many people on here in in that age group. Are you getting a booster shot?

Know of friends getting another however when they take the kids in.

I suppose we you don't hang out with kids and aren't in the Canterbury area, the risk is a lot lower at the moment. But these things can get out of control. At least we have a reasonably good health system, compared to the rest of the world at least.

In Australia, you don't get child related tax credit if child not vaccinated. (IIRC) - a lot of $$$ as you get a lot of tax back (50-80%) for preschool related stuff.

Ironic hey. Some of them make the decision not to, based on 'big pharma' conspiracies.

Meanwhile the jab is _free_. The associated healthcosts for the severe cases being hospitalised and extra staff to cover the preventable hysteria/influx.. isn't. So who's really profiting lol
