1: Voter fraud is quite common in everything from Prom Queen to POTUS. It's not just an "American" thing - it's global. That is the principle driver behind identification laws.
That just not true. Yes, voter fraud exists to varying degrees in various places for various things. But to say it is quite common for POTUS is simply untrue and you have provided nothing to substantiate it, nor can the GOP because it's a tiny problem that has no effect on the outcome.

gzt: Both Huffington Post and Fox News have been the first reporting on and investigating several important stories. It would be foolish to dismiss all reporting from these services. Also, both are actually fairly mainstream in terms of the USA.
Edit: However, please note I'm not accusing either of you of reading them : ).
Fox was also very anti-Trump during the Republican primaries.
They've flip-flopped for obvious reasons.

Funny that the only couple of reports of "voter fraud" were Trump supporters trying to vote twice. One of the reasons this person gave was "she voted twice because she was afraid her vote for Donald Trump would be changed to a vote for Hillary Clinton." (The Guardian).

Apparently Democrats reduced unemployment, made healthcare more accessible to the poorest and middle-class and improved minimum wage. Exactly what Republicans don't want.
Exactly. In NZ, if you govern, you will pass any laws or changes that you want. NZ Govts take ownership, as thy do what they like, and fair play, they ARE the Govt.
In the US, the Democrats don't have that mandate as the Senate and Upper House are Republican. It is NOT a Government as they cannot govern.

Rubbish
MMP has ensured that even this current government cannot pass unpopular legislation, that is exactly why the resource management act has not been simplified. In fact National has been ham strung significantly over the last 8 years cause it has in effect been a minority government.
End of the day there are two viewpoints.
1. Trump is a liar and its all fluff, that's me
2. Trump is shining the nuke button, and he will crash the world, nuke or no nuke.
Lets wait till Feb 2017

Clarify instead if using rubbish rhetoric.
They have a majority, so what they vote for, wins. If there was a moral vote, the party members are allowed to vote for the other side.
If its a minority Govt, tell me the seat count.
Som people need to get off there high horses and discuss, or provide refs to back up their rhetoric anger
Im still waiting for the minority Govt ref
gzt: Yeah the NZ government can. It's a coalition government and if they have the numbers they can pass any legislation they want.
Apparently that's rubbish. I'm so over interesting topics that some users get angry to the point of being nasty. Only the other day I decided to avoid such topics, as there is so much angst, so much Im right your an idiot. The topic gets lost in individual arguments.
I may stick to the treads that are about tyres.....
