Musk's "X" post

"...While I have many concerns about a potential Kamala regime, my absolute showstopper is that the bureaucracy currently choking America to death is guaranteed to grow under a Democratic Party administration. This would destroy the Mars program and doom humanity.

It cannot happen. Your help would be much appreciated. This is a fork, maybe the fork, in the road of human destiny."

Translated: "F__k anyone's sent to Mars using my rocket health, safety or even existence. I won't be held responsible if they develop cancer, rendered sterile, or just simply blown up. It's a 'you' problem, not a 'me' problem.

If I kill all Martian life that may exist on Mars, that's bonus points #1.

If I own all of Mars, that's bonus points #2

If I'm the only law on Mars forever, that's bonus points #3."

I found the comments to this new vid post on the massive lead Harris has in the youth vote, to be more intelligent and engaged on WHO the opposition is and WHY they are so engaged.

If it increases in the next poll this from 61:30 to anything close to 70:25 etc, these young adults could just be the Saviour of US democracy. The point he makes about people coming from out of state and turning Harris on campus is also a good one.

The question is going to be how many convert early enthusiasm into actual voting, that number post election will be fascinating.

Elon, the self proclaimed I know more about X than anyone.

I'm sure Stockton Rush thought that there was too much bureaucracy.
Now he does have to worry about bureaucracy, legal liability and all that rubbish.

Elon Musk will not be paying for Mars missions, USA taxpayer will be for sure.
He has already been living on Government and State subsidies, that he is an absolutist that no-one else should get.

When you consider what can be done per $ with robotic missions like returning rocks/soil, conducting experiments.
The greater swathe of exploration of the solar system and instruments in space and such.
Humans and all fussy requirements to keep them alive just get in the way.

Mars is 'Virtue Signaling' he rails against. Always accompanied by I'm saving civilization.
To send and expend anything like the resources, we would have to solve our sustainable resource problem on Earth first.

1% of Earth atmosphere that's mainly C02, no magnetic field to protect from high energy particles and solar radiation or flares.
A surface likely toxic because of this, plus the regular solar panel blocking dust storms the same stuff.
Average -60C that makes Antarctica seem warm.

Summer you might get +20C in the day -70C at night on equator. Not bad but you are stuck in your space suit.
You are hoping you don't need any awkward spare parts or materials for that or the airlock etc.
Its now that 2 year period where Earth supplies may not be making the x months trip.

Then the biological effects of such long low gravity, and zero gravity even during the trip etc.

Bioshock was not real, we did not build a self sustainable isolated city under the sea or in the clouds.

Future headline:

"Elon Musk asks another flight attendant for SpaceX 'do more' during a massage, exposes his penis to her offers to buy her a horse for silence, gives $150,000.

Say President Harris is to blame."

Robert F Kennedy Jr is the one who supports Trump. The shame he has brought to the Kennedy family name are too long to list.

Trump continues to attract only the brightest and best

How the..... I mean I can see him personally doing such a dumb thing but surely thats his advisers doing such stuff?

And this is what you get when you pick your advisers based on blind loyalty rather than competence.

Of the 12 BG/Swing states, averages have Trump ahead on 4 with Texas 5.0%, Florida 3.9%, Arizona 1.1%, Georgia 1.1%.

12 swing states? Since when? There are only 7 that I know of.

This is a true event. Trump was doing a photo-op in a small grocery store, to show his connection to common folk.

Reporter: “What would you purchase at a store like this sir?”

Trump: “I don't know … I … you know, Because of what I do, I haven't been in these stores in a long time.

You know it's so nice. I'm tell you this is amazing. This is fun for me.

Trump looks at a bags of popcorn on a shelf.

“Oh look! I got to get something. Look at that stuff! What I want … just have … we got to get it!”

As he left, he didn’t purchase anything. However he made sure everyone knew he gave the cashier a $100 bill, by saying "look here's a $100", and waving it at the cameras before handing it over.

Axios: Haitian group files criminal charges against Trump, Vance over pet-eating claims

A Haitian organization in Ohio filed criminal charges against former President Trump and running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) on Tuesday, alleging the pair has caused harm by spreading baseless smears about Haitian immigrants.

Trump and Vance have continuously amplified a false online conspiracy theory about Haitian immigrants eating pets in Springfield, Ohio, elevating an internet rumor to the national stage.

The FBI is investigating threats and intimidation of Haitians in Springfield — many of whom are living and working there legally.

NewsWeek: Florida Poll Has Kamala Harris, Donald Trump in Dead Heat

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are in a dead heat in Florida, according to a new poll.

The poll, conducted by The Independent Center and The Bullfinch Group between September 20 and 23, found that Trump had a 1-point lead among registered voters in Florida, on 48 percent to Harris' 47 percent—a lead well within the poll's 4-point margin of error. The lead was the same when third-party candidates were offered as a choice.

Florida has traditionally been a key swing state, voting for Bill Clinton in 1996 and Barack Obama in both 2008 and 2012, but more recently, it has become a Republican stronghold, voting for Trump in 2016 and 2020.

In November 2022, GOP Governor Ron DeSantis secured reelection over his Democratic challenger with 59.4 percent of the vote against 40 percent for Charlie Crist.

However, the latest polls suggests that Republican support could be declining in the state, with some putting Harris within striking distance of Trump.
