I know, it is. But the problem isnt the lack of communication, Spark always responded to my queries. The problem is that they dont actually KNOW what is happening. They dont know how much stock they have, or how many preorders they can fulfil. So they cant tell us customers when our orders will be delivered. So we just have to wait and see. We will either get pleasantly surprised or very disappointed. I dont mind it being delivered next week, as long as it doesnt hit a 3-4 week delay.

yeah lack of communication between management and their staff, hence lack of information between staff and us consumers. They are running before walking...No idea what's going on unfortunately...

This is not uncommon around Apple launches. Yes very frustrating but very common.

This is not uncommon? Meaning it's common?

Common to mislead consumers thinking you can buy the phone outright from spark then they tell you to go on a 24 month contract after your preorder is complete?

Common to mislead consumers thinking they have preordered two phones but they come back and tell you that you can only have one without any explanation whatsoever?

Common to mislead consumers into thinking they will get their iPhones delivered to them on launch day and after a few days then say you won't recieve them?

They don't have any clue or idea what is going on! all they have to do is NOT allow preorders until all the staff in spark is well trained and management in the company know what is happening.

If you don't know what's happening then don't market advertise or ALLOW PREORDERS on your website which ends up as a total lie and mislead all the poor consumers!

You're after an extremely high demand product with limited numbers, you just need to settle in and enjoy the ride. It's not the end of the world if you have to wait for a phone. Everyone is in the same boat. No point getting upset about it.

on top of that spark Started Spark Emoji Q and let customers signed up now they are calling every one who is registered to Emoji Q that they won't be able get iphones because they have limited stock. But I am lucky enough to be in top 10 and they said I am good as and will be able to get iphone 6 + 64gb in hands on launch day but still I feel sorry for the one who will miss out even after registering for Emoji Q... If they were not sure how much stock they be receiving than they shouldnt be doing all these oreorders and emoji Qs

I completely agree with you deepeandhawa

I don't understand what got into sparks mind when they started this marketing...

"Hey team! Let's sell something we have no idea if we are getting!"

Reading through Spark's Twitter feed they still seem to be suggesting that if you were high enough up the pre-order list you'll be getting your phone by the 26th - not sure how this could be the case as they likely would have needed to dispatch them by now.  I ordered my wife's 6+ 128GB at 12.05am on the Friday morning so hopefully that order is pretty high up the list.

Would be useful if they sent an update email to people who pre-ordered or if someone from Spark could post a general update here - for goodness sake, you're posting willy nilly to Twitter, how hard is it to make a comment here.

They should receive the stock today or tomorrow.

the fact is they have no idea how many stock they are receiving... they are selling something that is uncertain, which concludes it to be misleading

They know they won't ge the stock until 1 or 2 days before the release...So I don't know why they would start preorders a week beforehand...

They would tell us more if they knew how many phones they were getting. It would be foolish if they said anything without knowing for sure.

I've just been on the phone with their mobile sales team and I've been told the following:

1.  I am in the first batch being sent out and have been allocated a courier post number/slot for delivery.

2.  Spark's allocation of phones has arrived and preparing for shipping.

3.  There is some uncertainty as to whether the phones will be couriered before Friday or on Friday, however I should expect to receive the phone on Saturday the 27th or Monday 29th at the latest.

Fingers crossed and lets see what the reality turns out to be.

How did you get in touch with their mobile sales team?
