SJB: Incredibly a lot of people in the UK complain about the licence fee for the BBC which costs them around $5 a week even though they are prepared to shell out much more for the drivel on Sky. They believe it should be self funding
I'd like them to see what you get when it doesn't cost you anything. They might change their minds.
Hear, hear. We watch a lot of BBC content for free through iPlayer and I'd happily pay the UK licence fee each year in return for that. I understand the reasons why the BBC can't officially provide these programmes outside the UK under present licensing laws, but I'm sure they'd find a ready market if they did.
