How do you connect to the internet? Via a modem or a router? Maybe we can help.

Via router. I have 2 Pcs connected by cable and 2 laptops on wireless. I accessed the router like someone posted before and changed the DNS setting to the temp fix but it doesnt seem to have worked. Also tried changing it through the local connection on each computer and then at last trying to set it to google 8.8.8.8 like someone else mentioned.

I've banned both support and support88. It seems it's the same person, both posting from the same IP address. Also their statement that "'just spoke to one of the representative of NZNET and they are not not shuting down at all." seems like astro turfing.

Down here also. I've been using alternative DNS for the last 48 hours or so since noticing issues but now dead as a duck.

Certainly seems like NZNet are having tough times. Indications of financial troubles from early this year: http://www.adls.org.nz/filedownload?id=4375acdd-d8da-4757-8f8a-736a9b8b6761

My net is still down too, 3rd day now, changing the DSN works sometimes but not a usable fix.

I have decided to suspend my Direct Debit until I hear from them, an email or something. Explained the problem to the bank and they said no problem, call us if you manage to get back in touch and they would resume the Direct Debit

I do not think its a very professional way to treat there loyal customers,
If nothing else works they could get someone to start ringing all the contact numbers, at least to make an effort.

And like most business I am pretty sure they will contact me the minute they don't get there payment

There's no route at all for NZNET coming from APE anymore.

That's not a good sign.

i.e. Things are worse now than they were last night.

Oh dear.
Their routes have now totally gone (I was still learning one from a domestic service)

They're "probably" just moving providers. It's just strange they didn't get their new provider to start advertising their ranges before their old one stopped.

So after telling us at 1pm that it would be up within the hour, they now told us that they don't know and it might not be up today. Update after 4pm apparently.

Sigh.

Yeah, they just changed providers earlier today, and have now changed yet again. Three providers in three days, wonder who tomorrows provider will be :)
