Hi,

I've got a DYNAMIX 18" Wall Mount Enclosure and it appears to have a number of vertically spaced holes, ready for mounting items in it.  I now wish to mount my switch in it.  How can I go about this?  Are there any brackets I can purchase?

Thanks,

Chris

Generally it is pretty hard to just by wings for a switch as they are different sizes. If you don't have the original wings then you could just fold some up and drill appropriate holes. Is the switch actually rack mountable? ie does it have screw holes on the side for wings?

I suspect you are talking about a standard rack mount - you will need rack mount ears / brackets for your switch which should screw to the side of the switch, then use captive nuts and bolts to bolt the brackets to the rack.

The brackets are an L shape if your switch is designed to be rack mounted. The alternative is a rack shelf.

Have a look here

Nope it's not a rack mount, it's one of these: http://www.dynamix.co.nz/index.html?do=viewproduct&code=HWS-1803&ID=25724555
