And another blowout internationally: 1.25Mb/s to Sydney, 2.18Mb/s to LA. Anyone else noticing this?

Oh well, Telecom technician here at 8am tomorrow to change our line over, so about 12 hours left of this crap.

3 hours ago a Twitter message said an international link was down causing congestion and they're working on it. Why can't that be put on their main page why do I have to go to Twitter to find that out?

Because, the network status page only gets updated when the problem has been solved. Not while one is present *snikers*

Eitherway, maxnet is looking REALLLLLLLy good right now.

Multiple Upstream Bandwidth Paths
We source bandwidth from multiple providers rather than being reliant on a single network. That means that if one provider has an outage, we maintain adequate bandwidth via our other suppliers to keep you connected.

They do send outage emails as they are discovered to business customers of their data-center (people who co-locate servers and etc.). They should extend this service to anyone interested.

Today's fault seems to be massive regarding Telecom's lines again.
