PaulLowman: Just entered this already but did not appear on geekzone forum.

Fast reverse actually went slow motion. Noticed this with fast forward also. Go to play and then rerun fast reverse/forward.
well that one is easy.... Firstly play and pause are interchangeable buttons. When you pause and push rewind it goes into slow mo. ..easy

Ah - Thanks Jimmy22. That will remove that particular issue for me.

joshhill96: With DLNA

What issues are you experiencing?
What is your host device? E.g iPad, PC, Mac, Linux
Version: e.g Windiws 10, ios9
What kind of file?

Feel free to PM. Or post on here.
Manual PDF progress is well underway and is looking good !

I have had no major issues with playing files from a Synology NAS via ethernet. Very Occasionally, the file will not start, but the segmented circle is spinning. Press stop and play again and all is good.

I have a T1020 that appears to have died over the weekend. I believe one of my kids turned it off while trying to play a DVD (pressing random buttons on all devices under the telly...), and when I turned it back on all that happens is the power light flashes red. I tried leaving it unplugged over night, but when I plugged it back in in the morning it did the same thing. Anything else I can try?

Looks like there is something wrong with the unit, likely the power supply in the unit /  a capacitor has failed, Please give us a call on 07 929 4123 or 0800 DISHTV to contact us regarding getting the unit sent back for us to have a look at it.

Hi Guys,

We are aware that some customers are having some issues with the on demand apps, 3Now with playback errors, If you are experiencing this issue, please reply back to me stating if you have a S8200, T2200 or T2100 device. If you have a Smart TV and having similar issues, please let me know as well. We are currently investigating.

Plain English warnings would be great, having just talked my parents through a "Media not alive' error... undecided

Thanks for that Jaxson, The only thing I can do is make a section in the PDF and iManual regarding jargon and error messages and steps to resolve / descriptions.

Or change the text to something more specific and indicative of a resolution.

In this case I'm assuming the USB connection/drive hasn't fired up properly for example.  Or put another way, the drive is dead.

How much of this do you influence here in NZ...

A few things :-

- Watched recorded program to end. Pressed stop, library page appears with just watched program highlighted. Red button is annotated as 'Stop' and not 'Delete' although program was recorded quite a while earlier. Pressed Red button and dialog appears asking if one wants to Cancel, Save or Not Save. Select Not Save and response is Unable to Delete. Noticed size of recording shows as NAN. Had to exit library view and re-enter whereupon all works as it should.

- Why are Pause and Play icons back to front. Unlike normal practice the Play icon shows if playing and the Pause icon shows if paused.

- On a couple of occasions when pressing stop after watching a recorded program the library page has appeared but with the top entry highlighted and not the just viewed recording. I deleted an unwatched recording in this manner :-(

- Selected Library page and showed a program being recorded on both its normal channel and the plus 1 channel (Thunderbirds) at the same time.

Bit of an interesting one for T2200 ... if you spot a TV program in progress on THE GUIDE that you want to record you naturally hit the record button but then it tells you, do you want to record the remaining time left ..if you say yes it merrily records away ..all good. That is until you remember there are plus one channels and that you should just record it there, only to find it says you are already recording and you can't record the same thing twice. Ok so there may be a work around my wife didn't see BUT this seems to be a deeper issue perhaps ? How do you stop a recording in progress you set from the guide and why can't the machine suggest you record on plus one at a later slot in full ?

Thanks for this Paul, some of this is feedback and a suggestion which is well valid so I will pass onto the team to look into, In regards to the Thunderbirds can you please go to the first recording of the duplicate, press the YELLOW (Options) then select Record Property, look for the ID number which you can see In the red icons O and OO please provide me the top single icon ID which is for the single recording and then the two rings ID which means series link, repeat the same for the 2nd duplicate and I will forward this through as I have reported this log to our team but I require more from the customers,

Either PM me or reply to this post

Ah thanks for that Jimmy! Yes I will get this dealt with as our previous generation boxes had this feature which helped with the plus 1 channels
