Went and got the J5. Really helpful staff in the Spark store. A few comments that might be helpful:

1. Plan ahead for much much less internal space. Have to make early decisions about what to kèep or live without

2. If you're using SmartSwitch, remember it won't transfer notes or any other N7-specific content

3. Dont know if everyone will have the same experience, but SS wwould not work using usb for me. Wireless transfer was surprisingly fast.

The J5 is not a bad device, but a big adjustment after the N7. Already eager for the replacement.

did they say the J5 was a keeper or a loaner?

Well guys I think DANOFDANGER got this one right. They sent a txt this morning to advise that it was not a fixed unit they had and apologised for the confusion they caused...

It seems like the staff were inadequately trained and are all giving out different information...

I asked them if I could pick up the loan device instead because I have been without a phone for a week and will have to wait a further 4 weeks and they said wait for Samsung to call.

Apparently the Samsung stores and the e-store do not sync up well so I can't go and pick up a j5 from them, starting to regret the decision to buy online...

Got a email and txt notification from Telegistics saying the old Note 7 I gave Spark a week back is back from repairs and available for pickup? I'm confused because Spark Albany already gave me a new Note 7 (still needs to be recalled).

There's no point picking it up though considering theres a recall going on, no point having 2 pocket explosives (Note 7) on hand.

That being said, I'm waiting for the Apple announcement before deciding what to do with my current Note 7.

I'll never forget that smell from the last time I was in a bowling alley fire - it haunts me to this day. tongue-out

Finally got my slick wraps. Lucky they took so long to come otherwise it would've been a waste with the recall.

I've got a clear case, a metallic case and a screen protector for my note7. I currently have the latter 2 on. Now I can add a glow in the dark wrap and clear wrap to the list =)

I'll probably end up with the glow in the dark wrap and clear case on with screen protector once I get the replacement.

My phone fell on the concrete yesterday and I didnt even care lol. I wonder if they would still replace a phone that's all messed up? Just a thought
