If someone is trying to make claims of legal requirements one would assume that they actually know what they are. 

As has been quite correctly pointed out there is no legal requirement for mechanical ventilation in a house with opening windows. It’s a nonsensical statement.

Similar situation so got a shower dome fitted ... problem disappeared immediately 😁

i never said a house with opening windows required mechanical ventilation with a certain flow rate. i said "35l/s (the legal minimum)", thats all. you made up the rest yourself, not me.
