Is that through Enable or Chorus? I couldn't see anything in Pegasus for either LFC on their websites.

I think it's Vodafone fibre not actually using a wholesale network

But I could be wrong

Thats my understanding as well. Very small lucky pocket of houses! Then again VF FibreX has been rock solid for us since we moved here.

So they rolled out their own fibre network as opposed to using Enable/Chorus? Interesting.

I tried a random street in Pegasus but no mention of fibre there, only cable.

The online checker is famously inaccurate for Pegasus, most addresses generate 'We are unable to determine, call us' messages.

Yeah that's right. There are some areas of Pegasus with FTTH and some with HFC - all Vodafone supplied. I don't know the history well, but I think the developer offered rights to supply broadband and Vodafone got them.

Also some info on this thread.

If Vodafone call HFC FibreX, then what do they call actual fibre... Fibre Plus?

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

So...are they going to replace the cable network with their own fibre network in Pegasus (my guess would be no on that one), and: are any new builds there likely to be cable or fibre?
