Ragnor: I'm sure there are some balls being busted behind the scene's between reps from the ISP's using Telstraclear transit.

pfft... these guys at TCL were told by HO techs it would turn to custard.  Chances of them listening to TPL-ISP's is up there with them listening to me.

NZCrusader: Possible truth ?

We know where that ship is headed..

hahahahah.... that's funny... not likely, but is funny.

I'm sure Snap is talking to other providers now about balancing their exposure to Telstra, but you're right, it's a big slap in their face that they didn't have it covered.  But Snap vanished off the net for a few hours the other week and it hardly hit the head lines, in fact, does anyone even know what happened?

Telstra is another story.  It's not going to sink.  Telstra.au has to make up it's mind what it wants to do with it and get on with it, but it's a bit busy currently on a number of fronts.  It could just quit the business like Telecom did with AAPT and leave the local business to some local company to sort out.  But who's got size that's going to want to buy it and what would it even be worth?

I suspect Australia has got the message that it's a bit off the rails and bring it back on track.  I've been following what they're doing in Australia and they are making progress in a good direction there at present from what I can tell.  They're still lifting the fog of the 'Sol days' there at present but they do have some good, open and up front people.

So, while funny...  I do think that's all there is to this one :)

Yes but WHY do you think that those 2 companies will sink like the Titanic?

watch movies XD

So many threads and complaints surfaced of a result of the TC free data weekend.
Reruns of that will make both "ships sink" as why do ordinary users want to be impacted by bad networking / marketing choices. Snap relies heavily on TC for transit (made obvious by the recent congestion ), so what affects TC, will also affect Snap.  ;)
