tonyhughes: Hi team, after issues getting my SGS2 to boot into CLockworkmod, I finally cracked it last night.

I have some random kernel whose name escapes me.
I have Cyanogenmod 7.1.0.

I want BLN working.

What kernel(s) should I be looking at?

Siyah has BLN, and I think I had it with Ninphetamine as well

Hi everyone, thought this might interest a few others here:

Pairing is via the Sixaxis Controller app ($2 on the Market), and there is a guide on pairing here (I made one since the Sixaxis Controller's homepage guide is not very user friendly). Root is required.

Also:

I tried to get Shadowgun on my S2 yesterday and found Chainfire 3D wasn't working at all - couldn't Fix Market Settings, couldn't play games that had previously worked, just complete no go.

I recently flashed to CheckROM and thought it might have been something to do with that, and after a bit of fruitless troubleshooting worked out that the latest Superuser build (bundled with the ROM) doesn't seem to like CF3D.

You just need to flash back an older build in recovery, and then update the SU binaries and it will work again. It took a few flashes to find a working one, but this is the one I used.

If you need more detailed information on how to fix it try my guide here.

No matter what ROM/Modem combo I use, mobile data sporadically decides not to work when Wi-Fi is turned off or disconnects when I leave home etc. The only way to get mobile data back is to reboot. Currently on DlevROM2 3.1 and the XXKI4 modem included with it. Might try other kernels as well (currently Siyah 1.8 that was included with the DlevROM install)

This is on a Telecom i9100T. Not sure if it's a firmware problem or not. It's always done it and I was told it was an issue with 2.3.3.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I would try Speedmod kernel first, then change ROMs if that doesn't work. I'm running Checkrom Revolution with the i9100T and haven't had any data issues apart from slow speeds sometimes. I'm currently using the KG2 modem and find the speed to be pretty decent.

I've fixed my echo problem, switched from my Belkin rubbercase back to the mercuryav snap on case. I think the rubber case was playing havoc with the noise reduction Michael

I got my Samsung S2 I9100 from Tech Brands Pacific. It of course came with stock 2.3.3. Upon receiving the phone I connected it to the computer and installed Keis. Immediately an update to 2.3.4 was available. I had read on XDA Forums that -3.4 had a fix to the Android OS bug, as well as improved battery life.

Was quite happy an update was available. So installed it which took about 10-12min.  Later in the week I found a ROM which was released for the S2 in Norway, this was version 2.3.5 (I9100XWKI8_I9100OXXKI2_I9100XXKI4_HOME)... after which I installed using Odin3 1.85.

Works marvellous, the battery life has been improved, and GPS locking has become faster.

I once found a 2.3.7 version ROM, quite a different interface. Didn't like it however so reverted back to 2.3.5.

Curious as to what you found? Can i get it also please? Also have a 9100T from Telecom. Still wondering why my 9100T came with KH1 modem as stock, when other 9100T users report KG5.

still working on it damager but found modem links in another thread, going to try KG2 to see if it changes anything but I have a rubber covr so maybe that is the issue as well but when I used KG5 it had lessened a bit.

Thinking of going to checkrom from litening rom, far too lazy to backup and restore all the apps I have especially since titanium didn't work properly for me last time.

Has anyone gone from litening to checkrom without wiping?  I know the dev says not too, but yeah lazy

I went from listening to leomars to checkrom without wipe with no issue. Backup listening and give it a go, worst case scenario you have to do a restore
