Hello,

Does anyone have experience with Brateck projector screens? Specifically their deluxe tab-tensioned electric models.

I can find very little in the way of reviews. On paper the specs appear similar to other screens that cost twice as much.

I have the 106" recessed version of that and it's stunning. I came from a pretty decent Elitescreens model before and this is great. Plus it's fast and quiet.

Sweet, thanks for the recommendation. I'd love a recessed screen but there are structural beams in the way unfortunately.

The key difference I see between the Brateck and Ambertech is that the former is tab-tensioned. The bit of research I've done suggests that tab-tensioned screens are far superior in terms of flatness, and that untensioned screens tend to curl over time. Has your screen stayed perfectly flat?

The screen is just for casual movie watching and gaming with the kids so the picture doesn't need to be perfect. It is more build quality, usability and reliability that I'm concerned about. A wavy screen would annoy me though.
