does the device support VLANs on the WAN interface? if not its not going to work as you need to be able assign VLAN10 on the WAN interface for fibre which im assuming you are asking about as you dont specifically say
I have a Synology RT2600ac connected to 2degrees fibre. The router does support VLAN tagging - actually this is something I helped implement for New Zealand because the first firmware release had some problems and it was working only on one port (VLAN would disable all other ports). Support issued a fix and this has worked well since then. They issue firmware updates every month or so, including security fixes (Linux CVEs) and other features.

Thanks for your responses.
Yes it is a fibre connection.
I have updated the router to the latest firmware.
I have set IPTV & VoIP to manual and which is were I suspect that you enable VLAN's and have set it to 10 for lans 1 and 2
Other settings on the WAN side are:
user is set for user@spark.co.nz
password is set to password
connection is set for PPPoE
MTU : 1492
MRU : 1492
Thanks.
Sorry, I'm new at this... Should have said that the settings above do not work.
This is the same as mine (except user name of course). Also:

I posted the reply with a screenshot showing how my router is configured for VLAN.

Oh ok, the screenshot just came through as a picture box with an X in it?
I have changed the image type - refresh the page and see if it loads. If not then you might have something blocking it (adblocker or similar perhaps?)

Thanks got that now and that is also how I have configured my router....
I re-powered both the Router and the Chorus ONT at the same time and it came up connected.
I had individually re-powered them both in the past but never together.
Thanks for your help.
If you check the Internet status does it show "Connected" and a gateway and DNS addresses?
In any case, can you ping Google DNS?
ping 8.8.8.8
If you run nslookup geekzone.co.nz do you get a response? You might want to run nslookup geekzone.co.nz and nslookup geekzone.co.nz 8.8.8.8 to see if you get replies from your ISP DNS or from Google DNS
