Otagolad: I've just been on the phone with their mobile sales team and I've been told the following:
1. I am in the first batch being sent out and have been allocated a courier post number/slot for delivery.
2. Spark's allocation of phones has arrived and preparing for shipping.
3. There is some uncertainty as to whether the phones will be couriered before Friday or on Friday, however I should expect to receive the phone on Saturday the 27th or Monday 29th at the latest.
Fingers crossed and lets see what the reality turns out to be.
arnies: What time did we order?
arnies:Otagolad: Reading through Spark's Twitter feed they still seem to be suggesting that if you were high enough up the pre-order list you'll be getting your phone by the 26th - not sure how this could be the case as they likely would have needed to dispatch them by now. I ordered my wife's 6+ 128GB at 12.05am on the Friday morning so hopefully that order is pretty high up the list.
Would be useful if they sent an update email to people who pre-ordered or if someone from Spark could post a general update here - for goodness sake, you're posting willy nilly to Twitter, how hard is it to make a comment here.
They would tell us more if they knew how many phones they were getting. It would be foolish if they said anything without knowing for sure.
Otagolad: I ordered a 6+ 128GB for the wife at 12.05am on 19 September.
In regards to contacting mobile sales team I simply called 123 on my iphone, requested customer service at the voice prompt and then chose mobile sales. The woman needed to speak to someone in another team before she came back and confirmed the info.

Some would argue it would be foolish to sell phones before you know how many you were getting but all the Telcos are doing it.

Beautiful. Will do that this afternoon.
pokecenter: Tony. I am sorry but we are not offering the sale of handsets only , even if going onto a plan for one month. Ideally we want to provide customers with the phones who are going to continue to use them on our network, beyond the launch period. In order to pre order an iPhone 6 you have two options , contract, or open term, but with the deferred payment options set up. With this latter option the plan would remain open term, but the cost of the phone is spread over 12 or 24 months, in addition to the plan cost. You are free to disconnect at any time, without penalty, and any remaining installments would be billed to your final account in a lumps sum. Regardless of what you choose, however, you would not received the phone on Friday and even a delivery a couple of days later would be in doubt as we have yet to process your order to the point of dispatch Regards Mark Spark Online WHAT DA FARC I PREORDERED ON FRIDAY, AND ON FRIDAY LAST WEEK THEY TOLD ME I WILL RECEIVE ON LAUNCH DATE!

So you ordered on a no-term contract? Was your credit card charged?

it wasn't charged, however i emailed straight after i made my order, why i wasn't charged, they said they will bill it to me instead of charging my card since I already have a spark home account.
they reply emails extremely slow, and now telling me i don't have my preorder anymore...extremely unhappy
