pokecenter:   You are free to disconnect at any time, without penalty, and any remaining installments would be billed to your final account in a lumps sum.

You must have missed this, yes they put you on 24 month interest free, with no extra costs, but you can disconnect and pay out the remaining on the final bill, try and take a deep breath there, is it the end of the world that they are putting you on 24 months interest free?

I ordered my IP6 64 Gb silver on Saturday night. It's not a big deal to me whether I get the phone on release but the lack of communication and the fact that VF (a company notoriously bad at communicating with customers) is doing better on this issue does make me a touch nervous about being with Spark for two years. How can they not know whether they have stock to deliver by now when another company does?

Just received this tweet from Spark (added italics).

"Details will be provided Friday of your purchase. Phones have already been dispatched :)"

I had an indication that the preorders were still first in first served regardless of the plans the phones were purchased on.

It was also indicated that because my order was placed by 6am on Friday it was likely I was in the first wave for the Iphone6+ 64GB in Silver.

I am not holding my breath, but I am quietly optimistic.

Just rang my local store who said they were given 7 iPhone 6's for the launch, No 6 Plus's, 24 Month Term only and they are all pretty-much spoken for.
Looks like i'll be staying up to try get one on the apple store undecided

I believe that that's correct; everything that I've seen about requiring a 24-month term has been in relation to physically picking one up.

Unfortunately it seems that Spark isn't dispatching the phones until Friday so it looks like we'll be waiting until Monday :(

What makes you think they'll take three days to be delivered? Couriers are pretty instantaneous (at least if you're in Auckland where I assume they'll be dispatched from). My iPhone 5 arrived at my office from Vodafone before the tracking info was even sent to me.

I suppose if you're not in Auckland, it might be more of an overnight scenario in which case it could be Monday because of the weekend..

Even then its not 100% because I was told that those who got on the Emojiq Queue thingy early enough would have the deal honoured. I spoke to the store and they were setting up the accounts for those in the queue already and he set my deferred payment on open term up over the phone.Done and dusted apparently. Just have to turn up tomorrow morning with ID and collect it.

What they really need to do I think, is make a new page on their site that spells out everything in fine detail for those who ordered between time x, time y and those who will be ordering later etc just so everyone is on the same page.

Because I've never had a same-day delivery before (I'm in Whakatane).

Yes, yes, yes. That would be great.

Hey bro I will be the first one to be served tomorrow thats what the guy said from spark when he called me yesterday and are you sure you were put on deferred payment open term?

He told me they will put me on  24months contract and interest free payments but it won't be on open term. So make sure you got it right if it is true I will talk to them aswell.

Yup 100% positive. He also asked if I want to stay on the same plan I am now or change it and I said I want to stay and he said cool and that was that. I'm currently on the $59/month Ultra Mobile plan which is open term only. Was moved to that after contract ended (previously on $69/month plan which is contract only)

Just got text from Courier Post saying I have a Spark delivery that needs a signature.

Looks like courier tickets have been allocated and waiting on pickup by courier now.
