I had my fibre installation this month.
I didn't have a visit from Scoper to do the 'Agree' part as per Chorus page, which includes walkthrough of how fibre will be installed and the new equipments.
The installers who came to do the outside work said, they were told (by the scoper may be ?) to lay the fibre through the existing copper cable conduit, but they can't do that as the copper cable was just buried. I signed the consent form to cut the driveway and they laid the fibre straw (not through any pipe/conduit), installed the ETP, blowed the fibre.
Just thought of checking is it normal that the scoper don't visit to discuss it with you.
I have no issues in it, as I went through many of the threads in here and had good knowledge of what is involved and how it will be installed.
