I've been trying to setup DDNS in order to access a home server.  It seems impossible to access my dynamic IP address though.

I've setup a domain with dyndns, and configured my router WAG54G to access this.

The dyndns setting are OK as I checked them using a fixed URL and that worked.  Dyndns then picked up my dynamic IP.

Trying to use the dynamic IP address, ie. ignoring DDNS for a moment, I can't get any responses.

Ping works OK

Traceroute times out at the ISP.  i.e. reached ISP but no further.

my ISP is Woosh ADSL

Tried testing using openport tool, but this returns timed out for any tested port, e.g. 21, 22, 80, 443

I'm wondering if ISP is blocking incoming ports.

Am I missing something simple, or is it really blocked?  Left support message with Woosh, but not hopeful to get a helpful response.
