jjnz1: Hi @SkyGo

Are you guys looking at increasing the quality of the picture within the SkyGo App at anytime? For example, increasing the high quality option from 1.3Mbps to 5-7Mbps max? (To match Foxtel Play for example).

I have been using a Samsung Tab S 10.5 and a Chromecast to view the sport channels, and the picture quality is far from what I get when using Foxtel Play/Go.

Hi Jjnz1,

The honest answer is I don’t know.

The product teams are constantly striving to improve our product range but the actual functionality roadmaps have not been released as yet so we can’t really comment on whether stream quality will be increased or any other feature for that matter.
What I can do is make sure all geekzone feature requests, enhancements and improvements are passed on to the product team so they have an understanding of what is important to the general public (or at least the techi public sealed)

Kind Regards
The Team @ SKY GO

old3eyes: How about real Chromecast support??

Similar to above, at the moment we don’t know the road map but I’ll share your request with the product team

itxtme: How did I miss this thread! You have finally opened it up to non-Samsung devices which is fantastic.  Just installed the updated version and works with sound now on my Nexus 5 - YUS!

Cool - glad you like.
Enjoy the sneaky cricket watching at work tongue-out
