I'll be keen to give this a go. I was a Fanpass user for 6 months before switching to Kayo but would be keen to have a local option as I'm sure these companies will start to become more geo-blocking savvy one day. Kayo still provides better value for me I'll be able to get all my Golf, Supercars, F1 and Rugby including RWC in one place for the same monthly fee but as I said. I don't believe it will be a long term option.

There's no mention of BeIN Sports on that press release? With Spark having the rights to the EPL and SKY having the rights to Champions League will BeIN disappear from the NZ market altogether?

BeIN will still be around.  Of course $20/mth for EPL and the additional BeIN football coverage is now $20/mth to Spark for EPL and $20/mth to BeIN for the rest.

With Kayo, for this key sports, who does the commentary?

For me, commentary is huge.

I'll quote this, as some use SkyGo to the telly. Its SkyGo, on the move. Not for a 75" telly

So no Sony TV App? That's disappointing. Hopefully, the Android App will work.

Wonder how the RRWD and FFWD will work.

Sorry - once again I can’t make head nor tail of what you are saying here. Read it several times - but no.

I read it as

SkyGo works great on his phone (small screen), but is really bad on a big screen.

Many bag SkyGo as when you send it to a large screen TV its rubbish. SkyGo works very well, and the res it very good, but its SkyGO, its meant for phones and tablets, on the go, etc, so yes it wont look great blown up, that's not the purpose of it

Sky has said for the new release that you can send the SSN to a TV, so it wont work like SkyGo as that poster commented on

Yes. its designed for small screens, on the go etc. The new app clearly won't be like that as they gave stated there will be apps tpo send SSN to the big screen.

I expect SkyGo to remain as is, which is good.
