Make sure you dont have skype or yahoo app.

If you have no apps draining batt the next likely cause is poor 3g reception the phone is trying all the time to connect

Not sure what else could be the cause

Just download Juice defender (free) don't get the paid ones. My old LG P990 lasted only 8 hours with little use then upon using JD my ife after 1 week was anywhere from 2-4 days. JD profiles your use and optimists the phone to preserve battery life while leaving things you use usable and turn other stuff off till you use it. Also make sure you dont have any widgets that you arn't using. Like yahoo news ap news and weather clock. I normally delete a few of the home pages just leave 2 or three instead of the out of box 5. As some one said it can take a week to 2 weeks to get the battery in the right cycle. Hope some of this helps mate. My s3 after playing went from 20hrs to 3 days.

Ha yeah I hadn't seen carat, and I'm getting a ip5 so that will help cheers. It's kind of the same but JD profiles and implements it for. So you only need to install and run it does the rest.
