Yes please, release all telecom's corporate secrets.

Telecom's systems are undergoing a big upgrade project to remove the reliance on other systems connecting to the main ICMS system and to remove icms altogether.
ICMS was created by IBM to work with the NEC NEAX61 K,M,S & E exchanges and has been patched up since to work with newer technologies.

We will see some big things after new year as the network gets it's handsets. Leave it at that.

Ha i wish i could but there is just so many !!!

We arent doing the new system upgrade to march though... its gonna be a nightmare getting it all working. All i can say is ALL of you will love telelcom by the end of next year. We will have so many new and exciting services all i can say is vodafone will notice a HUGE drop in clients. Telecom is growing by the minute and peronally i think telecom is the future i mean screw vodafone and the 20c a txt and now my telecom phone has way better that my old vodafone fone and its much faster.

I currently have the 95c nice phone, but all of the REAL T3g services wont be active on the Sanyo 7400 for a while so hold on you will have enough time to save up for one by the time all the cool stuff comes out.

Daniel im in the middle here, But facts (figures) speak for them self. Vodafone still gets over 82% of new mobile market share and thats when they are not even running a 3G network, I think you have worked for telecom too long and being brain washed. Vodafone are also launching new things. Competition is all good but you need honestly need to pull your head out of the clouds and T3G does not reach 2.4 M/bits persecond.

Also Daniel they are both great networks but vodafone promises speeds of over 10.5 m/bits in the next 2 years, Vodafone also offers cheaper texting on net as well.

If you want to check out how telecom treats there business customers check out the T&Cs for there team builder Zero plan.

This is what NZ is getting in 24 months

Hi there,

I dont know about the Hyundai?s and the GPS, they might be able to i think they can....

I have only been working for telecom for 4 months and have had a Vodafone fone for over 6 years previous to that. How do you know T3g cant reach those speeds and Vodafone can SAY they can get 10mbit but thats 2 years away and I haven?t seen it happen yet. I have seen T3g in action and its amazing much faster than any Vodafone service CURRENTLY available.

The list of new services for telecom mobile is simply amazing and I know im looking forward to it. I know they are both great networks but I defiantly know I would rather have telecom for the cheap Txting and all the hot new services that are going to be released soon. I know most of my phone book is telecom people and I know I would rather have a telecom phone over a Vodafone phone any day.

I know Vodafone is still a great company but TNZ and Vdfn are heading in separate directions and both networks suit different people it all depends on what you want from your provider.

What telecom need to do is
reduce the ridiculous WAP rates (5c per 1KB, or $50 per 1 MB) to the price that the standard mobile data plan is on.
Make all prepaids per second calling after the first minute,
Release a "Voice" based email/portal like they had for "Wordup"

Introduce "bundles" whereas you buy say, 200 off peak minutes for $20, 100 anytime minutes for $40, 500 TXT's for $10 which you would just TXT what you want to a number and Wham its there to use.. the more you buy, the cheaper it is. You make your own plan up out of bits to suit you rather then taking what they give you. What do you think?

And at the same time they do this, offer a free tradein your vodafone offer, even just one one phone model for nothing.

They would then slay Vodafone.

They are both companies with there own goals and the Telecom network is awesome for data in NZ there is no two doubts about that but I would do some more research on your facts first. You want to see how much that red giant spends on R&D a year it would make Telecom gross profit look like pity cash, they give more away to charity than TCNZ would make.
