Are you sure it's $599? I just rang Telecom and they said it'll be under $500

599 on outright prepaid. Its P2P, Video and Cam plus media player.. And by the way even at $699 the Sanyo 8100s still sold out. (before the special two for one deal.) So I have no doubt that that the 7400 will sell out quick as well.

Its got a nice look to it. Silver with a black rubber trim.

According to my local Telecom dealer its in stock tommorrow.

Personally, based on what I've heard about the 7400 so far, I think that $599 is a very reasonable price.

Does anyone know about the pc sync capabilities of it?

I have been a user of a Nokia for a while and enjoy the great pc suite software they have. I have tried the USB cable on the Sanyo 8100 and didnt like it at all. I tried Snapsync and bitpim neither was very good.

Does anyone know if things have changed for the 7400? I like making reminders on either outlook or the phone and having them sync up. Also it saves money buying ringtones if you have a cable and gettting photos off the phone is easier than emailing them etc.

I'm really evaluating if its worth ditching my nokia 3586 for one, i norm sync that with my pc ev 2nd day. I've searched for info just thought i'd ask if anyone has any ideas

Awesome phone as far as I can tell. Camcorder feature seems to be limited to 30 secs but camera and flash seem to be good quality. They come with bothe a silver and red faceplate so thats cool too. Easy to use format.
