I'm a biased big sedan/station wagon kinda guy but have been using a 2015 Ford kuga titanium diesel for the last 2 weeks and I now understand the popularity of the small SUV, the seating position allows you to look over cars at intersections, you can always find a parking space big enough to fit yet you never feel like you are in a traditional small car
I would recommend anytime looking at this sector to trial the kuga or Escape as the current version is called, the diesel is the 130kw 2.0T with full-time 4wd running they a very smooth 6spd box, I've been averaging 7.5l/100kms which is but bad considering that is 95% Auckland commuting in peak hour traffic, plus that have safely features coming out the wazhoo, I think I would be very happy owning one long term
