quebec: WHS happy to do it but they only have it in white so picked one up from JB.

But WHS would give 5% off.

I think they mean that they would prefer to pay the $3 to get it in black rather than white. I'd concur with that.

$6.50 Delivered Online is still a good price. Try your local Noel Leeming or Warehouse Stationary.

Does this printer come with the normal size inks, or are they demo sized?

Bought one half an hour ago. Buying inks will be the killer though. $35 per ink times 5

kendo: Shipping kills the deal...

Available in-store though. Does JB Hi-Fi do Click & Collect. $6.50 for a printer isn't bad.

Whats the ink price? Locked into that?

That's a logical decision but we shouldn't be producing printers that go to the tip after a few weeks.

How about we reduce the price of the outrageously expensive ink and up the price of the printer? I seem to remember an era where the ink/hardware prices were more in balance.

Shot into JB on Friday and picked up two printers. I'm sure the advert was until the 23rd or something, but thought I'd go straight away.

Sales staff laughed when I told them the deal.  Submitted claim as soon as I went home, and received confirmation today that it has been approved.

Saw on weekend that the offer had expired. So not sure of the story, but I guess they must have had a huge influx of orders on their website?
