If you can find a Sony 2018 model like the X900F you should be able to get it for a low price now that the X950G has replaced it, I got mine for $1600 at the start of the year. Press the green button for Freeview ondemand on Sony Tv's.

Just replaced our trusty Panasonic VT plasma with a LGC9 OLED (I know, not good tv buying time)

I’m in the Wow, look at the picture phase, it really is a thing of beauty. I thought Plasma blacks were good, not even close to this. The colours are gorgeous, the whole picture takes my breath away. 4K HDR on youtube is my new obsession:)

How old is your plasma TV?

If it is less than 10 years old and can't be repaired by Panasonic then it has failed to meet the CGA durability requirements and as a major defect (ie not being able to be turned on) you can request a full refund of the original purchase price.
