The version numbers on the cables is pretty meaningless, I have some 1.3 cables that struggle passing 1080p60 content, yet older ones which predate 1.3 are sweetas with it.
I like the ones that have a nice fabric covering over them that look like a snake. Thats about the only reason to spend more than five bucks on a cable IMO.
Wish that DX would get some nice looking speaker cables, I have requested it several times but nothing so far.
forgot to mention also that you can use a DVI to HDMI adapter too, the nVidia cards output audio on the DVI ports also and it works fine with blu-ray 3D in my testing.

So you are getting full 1080p 3d hd with 1.3 hdmi? What 3d blu-rays have you tried I did wonder about dvi but pb tech told me it wouldn't work Are you getting HD audio though dvi?
Both cloudy and monsters 3D run fine via DVI->HDMI connection using 1080P@24Hz and My AVR is also saying sounds tracks are being output correctly e.g TrueHD
So I got my new MSI GT430 card yesterday, installed latest drivers etc set up 3D in the nvidia control panel after a bit of mucking round trying to get it to pass through my pioneer VSX-920, so got the 3D test working on the control panel Put in a 3D blu-ray opened up powerdvd 10 with 3d and nothing just plays the movie in 2D. Any Ideas what has gone wrong? Also was not getting any sound on the blu-ray, but I may need to choose a codec for that ?

What 3D settings are you using in PDVD ? make sure it's set to Auto Detect Source Format, and HDMI 1.4 enabled 3D TV in the Display device section of the PDVD 3D settings dialogs.
Also make sure your TV is set to Auto enable 3D mode if it has such a setting.
Also you could try changing your resolution to 1080p@24Hz and see if it works then.
as an FYI the latest version of TotalMedia Theatre version 5 is now supporting full hd 3d and auto switches to 1080p24. Seems to work nicely on a Nvidia gt240 a $15 hmdi 1.3 cable off trademe on a samsung plasma using latest nvidia drivers. If your interested in hearing about alternatives that is.
