myfullflavour:coffeebaron: Putaruru, but you'll need to convince an LFC to roll out to our town first:)
You should move down the road to Tokoroa, 1Gbps :)

wiggles:Decal: You should definitely come to Christchurch next! Currently on VDSL with you guys but would love to jump up to fibre!
Are you UFB ready?
wiggles:eXDee: Wellington would make the most sense as a business decision imo.
Question though, are you sticking to Chorus areas first, or will you consider moving into Enable's territory in chch and UFF in Hamilton? Hopefully you're not staying chorus only and can move onto these two after Wellington.
Actually, where are most of your customers (ignoring Auckland)?
We're open to Hamilton or Christchurch, student areas are quite important to us as the no term contracts suits them really well. (They don't have to pay an ETF at the end of the uni term with Bigpipe).
We have a whole heap in Hamilton, Wellington and Dunedin.
jonathan18: Bigpipe doesn't provide a VOIP phone service as an option, does it? (I can't access your website from the work computers - but they still allow me to access Geekzone; go figure!)
I'll be looking at options and will be happy to move ISPs (in Palmerston North - also a hotbed of students!) when our current UFB contract with Snap ends (about April?), especially given how their current plans are looking really tired now (and their new plans that are supposed to be "coming soon" are certainly not coming quickly...). But I'd imagine my wife would be reluctant to move to a phone service not provided/supported by the ISP.

BigPipeNZ: correct we do not do VOIP. We don't block or throttle it in any way though, so feel free to use 2Talk, Wxc etc or whoever you like.
Or, like me, persuade your wife that a fixed phone line is silly and just use your mobile for all national calls, and skype for international. :)
Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
